Marketplace Rules

Listings are not allowed to:

• Advertise a vehicle the seller does not own or have the right to sell
• Misrepresent the vehicle's condition, mileage, history, or price
• Advertise a stolen, salvage-titled (without disclosure), or otherwise prohibited vehicle
• Use another seller's photos or description without permission
• Include contact details, links, or content unrelated to selling that specific vehicle
• Be posted more than once for the same vehicle at the same time

Recognizing a scam

Be cautious of a seller (or buyer) who:

• Asks you to pay a deposit before you've seen the vehicle in person
• Asks you to move the conversation off Cars.ky before answering basic questions
• Offers a price significantly below the vehicle's market value with a story explaining why
• Claims to be traveling, overseas, or unable to meet in person
• Pressures you to decide or pay quickly

Meet in a public place, verify the vehicle's paperwork before paying anything, and never wire money or send gift cards to someone you haven't met.

How to report a listing

Open the listing and click Report this listing near the seller's contact card. Choose the reason that best applies (spam, scam, prohibited item, or other) and add any details that would help a reviewer. You can report a listing once; a platform administrator reviews every report and may dismiss it or remove the listing. You won't be notified of the outcome, but the listing will simply disappear if it's removed.

Blocking unwanted contact

There is currently no in-app block button. If a conversation becomes unwelcome, stop responding and report the associated listing if it violates these rules; a report against the listing is the fastest way to bring it to an administrator's attention.
