1. What Cars.ky is
Cars.ky is a listings platform that lets private sellers and registered dealerships advertise vehicles for sale to buyers in the Cayman Islands, and lets buyers contact sellers directly through the site's messaging feature. Cars.ky is not a party to, and takes no responsibility for, any sale, purchase, or agreement between a buyer and a seller.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when registering and are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account. You must be legally able to buy or sell a vehicle in the Cayman Islands to use Cars.ky for that purpose.
3. Listings
Sellers are solely responsible for the accuracy of their listings, including the vehicle's condition, history, mileage, and price. Cars.ky does not inspect, verify, or certify any vehicle. Listings may not advertise a vehicle the seller does not have the right to sell, and may not contain false, misleading, or prohibited content. A listing removed by its owner, or by a platform administrator under Section 5, is no longer publicly visible; its record may still be retained internally.
4. Dealerships
A dealership account represents a real business and must be approved by a platform administrator before its listings appear publicly. Staff added to a dealership by its owner or a manager may act on that dealership's behalf, including creating, editing, and removing its listings. A dealership's owner is responsible for who they grant staff access to.
5. Reporting and moderation
Any signed-in user may report a listing they believe is spam, a scam, advertises a prohibited item, or otherwise violates these terms. A platform administrator may remove any listing or suspend any dealership at their discretion, with or without a prior report, and without prior notice to the affected seller. 6. Messaging and contact information
Messaging a seller shares your name with them, and their listed contact details may be visible to you. Do not use Cars.ky's messaging to send spam, harassment, or unrelated solicitation. Cars.ky is not responsible for the content of messages between users.
7. No warranty
Cars.ky is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that any listing is accurate, that any seller is trustworthy, or that the site will be available without interruption or error.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continuing to use Cars.ky after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
